So hey guys I started researching summer hairstyles for this weeks post but I just thought no 

I told you about the school show hairspray but that was a few weeks ago and last Thursday ( june the 19th 2014) and Friday ( June the 20th 2014) we performed it 

So I thought i would tell you about it and give you summer hairstyles next week 

(Sorry if you wanted some summer hairstyle ideas) 

So we have been rehearsing the school show 3 times a week for about 3 months now and its all ended with a bang 

On the Thursday we got our make up and hair done ( we had orange faces(stage makeup) and big hair) 

We ate the food we ordered and went back stage we were all super excited and hyper we took thousands of pictures (I never actually took any cause every body else took so many that I actually forgot to take some of my own) 

We had a inspirational speech from a cast member (this show was her last unless she takes part in next years where she will have technically left school) 

Then one of our back stage cast members said that (Dave was here)( Dave is a guy from Australia who started so many inspirational groups and created a family within the community ( I went to one of his groups every week ( I think ) for a whole year and the first time I met him and his wife they welcomed me with a hug ( barring in mind I was a complete stranger) when I got to old for that group I stopped going 

But some people didn't and they created an OHANA( OHANA means family and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten) 

A few years later Dave moved to wales and when he herd about the show he had to come back to see it 

His family from the groups that were in the show all started crying cause they had not seen him in ages 

But the cast are all family even if we didn't know Dave we all started crying to support every one 

But we sorted our makeup and got threw the show after wards we went to see Dave and he actually remembered me 

On the Friday we got our makeup done and hair we ate food then our director who's a teacher from our school well she told us that we are family and this show will be amazing no matter what we all had a group hug put our hands in the middle and shouted hairspray 

We went on stage ( whilst the curtains were closed ) and put our hands in again and shouted hairspray family  we took many selfies and many group selfies 

( the crowd herd us shout but we didn't care) 

( there was even cast members going round and hugging and kissing every one on the cheek ) 

( we barely knew them but we were already good friends) 

( the pressure was on as my family were there this night and a lot of the schools stuck up plastic girls were also there) 

On the Thursday there were only 180 people ( we also got mocked on the Thursday by some idiots but who cares) 

On the Friday there were 289 people 

It was scary and I am sure we messed up a few times but the audience don't know what was supposed to happen so its all good we performed the best we could and the atmosphere on stage both nights especially the Friday was immense  the feeling is amazing knowing your putting on a good show 

We ended with a spectacular finale and confetti cannons all the back stage members and our director came on stage and some of the cast made speeches we had a group hug then went down to see our family 

We went back stage and took off our clothes at the same time saying this will be the last time we take off theses clothes ( yes there were boys in the show but when we had to do quick changes in the wings they saw us change any way) 

We left walking our separate ways 

This weekend I have seen some many pictures and good comments from the public about the show 

We all just want to perform hairspray again but next year it will be a different show 

If you want to do something but are to scared don't worry just do it 

I could not even sing in front of my friends before the show but I had to sing in the show so I did 

I like singing but think I can't so i didn't but now I can sing publicly 

 

I think I quite like stage life now

Hair care tips

So hey guys finally I have time to make this post so lets get started

As I said this post is about hair care do's  and do not's 

1. Wash hair daily. I know washing your hair every day can stop it from growing as fast but it does hell to care for your hair 

2. Dry shampoo. Even if you have just washed your hair put dry shampoo in to stop your hair getting as dirty as it normally would 

3. Do not towel dry your hair towel drying leaves hair much frizzier than it would if you blow dried or air dried

4. Use a wide toothed comb on wet hair to help stop split ends 

5. Get your hair cut every 4-8 weeks the more you get it cut the less split ends you will have ( and it actually makes your hair grow faster)

6. Don't put a nozzle on your hair dryer that concentrates on one point at each time ( don't use a nozzle at all) 

So that is it I know it was short but I did do research before hand

So yeah

So hey guys I have so many hair care tips that I would live to share with you guys 

But

I know I said I would post tonight cause I didn't last night but I am literally falling asleep right now I cannot stay awake

Flash mob

So hey guys tonight is an update because it is short 

tomorrow night will be a proper post on hair tips 

But because I am later at posting tonight I won't have time to do a Long post 

I was busy all day today and will we until about 8pm tomorrow so this is just a short quick post 

So exciting news this summer I will be taking part in a flash mob 

A flash mob is where in the middle of a crowded place 1 person starts dancing to some music then slowly people from the crowd slowly join in 

People join in from shops stalls car parks toilets and just go into the group of dancers and dance 

Once the music stops so does the dancers and they just go back to normal shopping life leaving the public to wonder what happened 

So this summer (I am not quite sure of the date ) I will be taking part in a flash mob in Aberdeen's union square (Scotland) 

It's a bit of a different location but there's apparently always a crowd so if you can come along and yeah 

So that's my update its a bit longer than expected but oh well

Positive inspiration

So hey guys I know I am supposed to do summer posts but I feel with britians got talent contestants 

Bars and melody aka the two good looking boys who sing and rap about their experiences of bullying 

So with that I feel you need some inspirational music

Hairspray

Hey guys I know I said I would do a post on confidence but I realized I never explained in full about our school show hairspray. 

So every year my school does a school show an this year it i hairspray the musical 

One of our schools teachers ( I will not mention her name as I do not have permission to do so and it is quite a unique name sorry) well she is the host and decides how we do things even though we make up a lot of the dance moves our selves the teacher has an acting degree so she's perfect for the job 

We have rehearsals every Monday and Wednesday from 4-7pm so we do not have a chance to go home we go straight from school to shop ( to get some thing to eat) then we get changed and rehearse 

We also some times have rehearsals on Saturday like last Saturday ( yesterday) we had rehearsals and every Saturday until the show we have rehearsals from 11am-3pm 

On The week of the show we have the whole week off to rehearse with microphones props and costumes as the show is on the Thursday and Friday 

We cannot miss more than 3 rehearsals or we can't do the show and if we miss any rehearsals on the last week before the show we are out as that is a critical point 

We have scripts to learn and moves to perfect all of us have lines to say so its a lot to learn especially the main characters along with lyrics to the songs 

On the night we have to have a different costume for every scene we are in and sometimes we only get a 2 min break before we are back on and in that time we have to have changed costume have a different hairstyle and slightly different makeup so its going I be eventful 

So it is going to be awesome I hope you like me talking about things like this 

P.s our teacher got the scripts legally from a trustworthy legal company
